Users will spend many hours a week keeping up with the latest news and happenings of their friends and businesses they like by checking their timelines. This leads to people being bombarded with messages quite frequently when they are using social media platforms. Content for Twitter is shown to be most successful in the few hours before and after lunch, while Facebook content is best to be pushed out around lunchtime and the late afternoon. Use auto-scheduling software like Hootsuite or TweetDeck to optimize your reach.
Make Your Posts Engaging
The more engaging the post, the more people are likely to interact with your post. Depending on your industry, using pictures and asking questions of your audience is likely to increase the amount of interaction. Once a user interacts with your post, their friends will be able to see this interaction on their timelines.
