A partner in the agency, Lindsey is actually Corey's boss. Just ask her. As the Director of Web Strategy, she works with prospects and clients to establish goals and the strategy to meet them. Ultimately, Lindsey makes sure everything our team does is working towards those goals.
Lindsey is a proud 90s girl whose career origin story begins at Sam Goody. Before joining the Tribute team (and after the fall of the mall music empire), she wrote for and managed a few publications, and ran her own copywriting and content marketing business.
Outside of work, Lindsey follows her favorite bands around the country, participates in a "super-cool-not-at-all-nerdy" writing group, and keeps a human child alive (he's in high school now, so she deserves all the awards). She's also a pretty big deal in the city of Meridian, Idaho, serving on multiple committees and doing all she can to make the city even better.
Corey started Tribute Media in 2007. Prior to that, he worked in the office equipment industry for 8 years, served as a Color Systems Specialist for Canon USA and taught graphic design for the Web at the University of Utah. He holds a B.A. in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
A bit of an autodidact, Corey taught himself how to make graphics on his Mac when he was 21. IKON Office Solution was so impressed by his skills that they hired him to run their graphics department in Salt Lake City.
Over the years, Corey has worked to share his knowledge and talents with others. "I figure that a talent that can’t be shared isn’t a talent worth having," he said. He is the author of two books, Do It Right: A CEO’s Guide to Web Strategy and Tweet It Right: A CEO’s Guide to Twitter.
Corey lives in Meridian with his wife Jen and five children. "Yeah… a full house."
Jillian serves as office mom, birthday-dessert-buyer, and office historian, in addition to running all operational things. In her words, "Everything I have done has been centered around taking care of people and making sure things get done." Her commitment to taking care of everyone and everything makes Tribute employees' lives easier (and way funner).
An Idaho resident since 2002, Jillian is originally from Connecticut. Prior to joining the Tribute team more than 10 years ago, she worked as an executive assistant and owned (and sold) an Errand and Concierge business.
Outside of work, Jillian enjoys cooking, entertaining, organizing everything, making lists, and spending time with husband Will and their two super cute daughters, Lily and Emma. Though she calls herself "basic" for loving Target, Starbucks, and fall, she's anything but basic.
Don is the art guy. For our clients, Don sits in on projects from the beginning and works to visually communicate our clients and what they offer to their audience within the framework of the web. He says, "My job is to incorporate those considerations into our overall plan for our clients, and in a lot of cases, I’m actually the one doing the design work as well." He excels at finding the balance between the bang of the visuals and the practicality of budgets, goals, and timelines.
Don holds a degree in Multimedia and Web Design from the Art Institute of Seattle and has worked in web design for almost two decades. Originally from Seattle, Don appreciates having four seasons as opposed to year-round rain.
Once in a rap group called Kaysethugz, Don gave up the stage name Dcaff and literally dozens of fans to settle in Idaho with his wife and three adorable children. He still has a Kaysethugz tattoo: "It doesn't come off."
Steve holds a B.S. in IT and Software Engineering. He focuses mostly on back end development, building websites' structure and functionality so Don can make them look pretty. His expertise in Drupal and advanced site building knowledge makes him an invaluable addition to the team.
Born and raised in Boise, Steve has been married for over 20 years and is the proud father of two children, Brenden and Baylee. He loves Idaho's four seasons and Boise's proximity to the mountains — "all that is good about city life without many of the bad things that usually come along with it."
Steve is a huge sports fan, especially soccer, and he and his family have traveled all over to watch games. His bucket list includes attending a game at every MLS stadium (he's hit 9 so far).
Caty is the point of contact for all Tribute Media web development projects and web marketing clients. Her ongoing goal is to define client delight and help our clients become heros in the eyes of their customers.
Caty graduated with a degree in psychology from Florida State University and moved to Idaho five years ago. She loves Idaho's outdoors, and she met (and recently married!) the love of her life here, so it was obviously a delightful decision.
She has a strong background in creating marketing strategies, auditing websites, email marketing, social media, and building web content focused on turning leads into customers.
An Oregon native, Sarah went to college at Oregon State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Media Communications. During her time in college, she interned as a marketer for The Columbia Gorge Pregnancy Resource Centers, where she derived a passion to use her media and marketing experience for the success of others.
Her thoughts on being part of the Tribute team: “The people, by far, are one of the best aspects of working at Tribute Media. They are friendly, funny, and so helpful. The teamwork and sense of camaraderie are refreshing.
Biggest guilty pleasure: “Curling up on the couch with a cup of coffee and watching Gilmore Girls. It never gets old."
If you call Tribute Media or stop in our office, Madison is the friendly voice or face you'll encounter. Behind the scenes, Madison manages -- fabulously, we might add -- a full plate of administrative duties for the Tribute team, ranging from publishing content to setting up projects, and keeping our coffee pot and candy jar full. Thanks to her willingness to learn and do in every department, things are always running smoothly in the office.
Born and raised in Boise, Madison loves having four seasons (especially fall) and spending time outdoors. She and her husband have a son, who is almost four, and a dog and cat.
Currently, Madison is studying Early Childhood Education and is on track to graduate in December of 2020. She has a range of job experience in publishing, retail, and working with children. In her free time, you might catch her DIY-ing ALL the furniture or dancing like it's her job.
Emery handles the most glamorous part of website management: Search Engine Optimization. She holds an MA in Rhetoric and Composition from Boise State and has a background in content strategy and running affiliate marketing sites. She likes that neither rhetoric nor SEO has a clear-cut definition and both are always changing (she will absolutely nerd out about either topic with you at any time).
On the side, Emery is a Very Serious Writer™ and assistant editor of a literary magazine. She hopes to one day have a lot of dogs and a cabin in the mountains, as well as at least one published book.
Sloane brings tremendous sales expertise to the Tribute team. Originally from Connecticut, she holds a master's degree in business management and has worked in sales and management positions for more than 15 years.
Sloane’s C.V. includes a considerable amount of experience in the healthcare industry. Her proudest accomplishments include owning the Connecticut-based business Sleep Solutions from October 2006 to January 2015 - a company offering treatment and medical supplies to people suffering from sleep-related breathing disorders. She also managed several operating centers for a national home respiratory care provider which grossed millions of dollars annually.
She loves the Boise-Meridian area because it's clean, safe, family oriented and there is always something fun and exciting to do.
In her spare time, Sloane enjoys yoga, being outdoors and spending time with her husband Vinnie and their two boys, Rocco and River. She loves to travel—two places she'd like to visit next are Yellowstone National Park and Oregon coast ("But there is so much more to explore, right here in our backyard.")
Wally appeared at Tribute Media not long after we opened for business back in 2007. Admittedly, we weren’t sure at first if he’d make a good fit—how could he type with those fins?—but he quickly won us over with his spunky attitude and can-do spirit. He shows us everyday why the narwhal is called the “unicorn of the sea” (but don’t tell him we said so—a while back, he kept pestering Corey to give him a plaque with that inscribed on it).
Wally likes making his Tribute Media coworkers laugh. He stays active on social media: His Twitter page has over 1,000 followers. Outside of work, he enjoys deep sea diving and travelling. His favorite locations include the San Francisco bay area and the Arctic Circle (guess he doesn’t mind the cold weather).
There's no doubt you have many choices when it comes to web design and web marketing services. Your middle schooler probably knows his way around CSS and HTML and every college kid is a blogger. The problem is, a site that looks hot but doesn't have well-thought out strategy, is like a certain reality show family we can't name for legal reasons: pretty, but worthless.
The difference between a web site and a web strategy is something that the experts at Tribute Media have mastered. Put us to work and we'll create a web strategy that will help you generate leads and grow your business.
