Email is a powerful tool for communication employed by nearly everyone. It helps us stay connected with family, send friends cat videos, get offers from our favorite companies, and maybe even get notifications from our place of business. The fact that it’s so prevalent and easy to use, can lull us into a false sense of security, especially if you depend on it for business.
Inbound Marketing Blog
Working in the tech support industry, I've worked with everyone from the super tech savvy to the computer illiterate. One thing I've noticed with people of all skill levels is that many people are afraid to update software, hardware, firmware, etc. You name it; they don't want to do it. Here, I will share with you why you should update and some best practices.
Updates: They Won't Hurt You
A leading reason for update aversion is fear. I have heard so many stories from noob users and power users both, who have had an update go bad, and now they are nervous about updating anything. Don't let one bad experience ruin the beautiful world of updates.
In my last blog I mentioned that you should not use Internet Explorer....ever. As far as browsers go, there are worse options than IE, but no one uses those. Internet Explorer doesn't have as many extension or add-ons as other browsers like Chrome or Firefox. Also, Internet Explorer (IE) does not receive updates as frequently. Meaning, if you have a sweet new feature or moving graphics on your website, even if your IE is totally up to date, the new feature/moving image may not display or work correctly.
Wecome back to another Drupal 7 FAQ support tip. In the last blog post, I mapped out how you can fix broken links in your website. Now I'll walk you through now to add images to your site. It's quite simple as you will see.
Adding An Image
Adding an image to a page is similar to adding a link, with a few differences.
- Log into your site, then go to the page where the link in question lives.
- Click the edit tab at the top of the page, and this will take you to a screen that allows you to edit the page content.
- Then click in the content where you would like the image to be placed.
