Transform You Traffic and Lead Increase Data

There's a reason SEO can't be a one-and-done marketing strategy. The tactics are constantly changing, as is what is acceptable according to Google and other search engines. If you aren't up-to-date on your website's SEO and best practices, you risk being penalized and losing out on valuable organic traffic to your website. Consequently, that also means missing out on leads.

An Arizona weight loss clinic is a perfect example of this in action. After noticing a steady decline in traffic, Tribute Media was tasked with doing an in-depth SEO audit project to find underlying issues that could solve why this website's traffic wasn't where it should be.

After a day of research, our SEO specialist began to understand that most of this client's website content was written based on SEO best practices from years prior and no longer acceptable to Google. She found that many black hat SEO tactics had been used for quick wins by "SEO consultants." There was a lot of room for improvement in order to get this website where it needed to be by today's standards in order to get the results they were looking for.

THE CHALLENGE

To put it frankly, website traffic was tanking due to Google's distrust of the website. The black hat SEO tactics used previously coupled with their content not satisfying visitors meant that Google shoved the client way down in SERPs (search engine result pages).
As a result of this, our client wasn't getting much traffic, let alone many new leads from their website. Their website just wasn't pulling the weight it should have been when it came to growing their clinic.

THE SOLUTION

  • Throwing out black hat SEO tactics and moving forward with SEO strategies that were Google approved (and Featured Snippet-friendly!)
  • Cleaning up toxic backlinks and working on improving technical SEO
  • Removing duplicate content and deindexing old and irrelevant website pages
  • Reducing the amount of overall content on their site by combining short web pages into larger ones that were more informative.
  • Refreshing main service pages to be more relevant and offer readers a unique perspective on the subject matter.
  • Watching user behavior and trends, and using findings to write on topics their patients and customers cared about.

THE RESULTS

Since our initial content audit, website updates, and overhaul of their content, Transformyou's website traffic has soared, with over 25,000 monthly users coming from organic search alone.

While we don't have Google Search Console data dating back to the time this project began, this client's Google Search Console property reports that their presence in search engines has almost tripled in the last year, and the clicks to their site have more than doubled.

This clinic now averages 70+ patient leads per month from organic search, giving their weight loss clinic a constant flow of new business thanks to their increased ability to be found online.

Here's a look at this client's website traffic and new leads in June 2021 compared to June 2019:

  • 2,405% increase in total users to the website
    • With a 2,374% increase in new users per month
  • 3,732% increase in traffic from organic search
    • Taking their monthly organic search traffic from 675 users per month to over 25,000
  • 219 new website form submissions
  • 85 new leads from organic search versus 22

THE BENEFITS

The website is streamlined, making it easier for Google to crawl and for users to navigate. Reducing the amount of irrelevant content and bad backlinks made the site much more Google-friendly. Updating and adding content that users wanted and letting the client's expertise shine helped the site achieve E-A-T and will continue to drive traffic that converts into leads. Finally, beefing up evergreen content and making everything more relevant and user-friendly means that the site's content will continue to attract new and returning customers.

With such a surge in brand awareness and their ability to be found online, this Arizona clinic will continue to grow its patient count year-over-year.
