Project Progress COMMUNIcATION: WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We're going to hit the ground running in the beginning! We'll (likely) be having kickoff meetings to recap the goals of the project, get required branding assets, create a content outline, and more. At kickoff, you'll receive a marketing client workbook outlining important project information, timelines, payment milestones, and more.

Once we have an approved design and content outline, our team will get to work building out your website. You may hear from us less while we're busy making your design come to life, but you should receive weekly updates from our team and a project progress meter within your client workbook. With that meter, you can watch our project milestones happen in real-time. Consider it like a pizza tracker but for your website!

Once we've completed our internal reviews, your project manager will get a walkthrough meeting on the calendar to review your new website with you and your team and discuss next steps.

Growth Driven Design

Why it's Important to Get Your New Website on the Internet

Your minimum viable product (MVP), or launch pad site as we call it here at Tribute Media, should include the minimum content and features to be a fully functional product, but no more. Keep it simple. You don’t have to install every feature you think could ever be helpful.

Once you get your launch pad site onto the web, you have the opportunity to get the answers to all those questions you’ve been pondering while looking at your website in the development environment:

  • Will people notice that button?
  • Should we make that whole image clickable?
  • Will that call-to-action really inspire site visitors to convert?
  • Is there too much content on this page?
  • Are more people going to be looking at this on a phone or a desktop?

...and on and on and on.

So instead of letting those questions prevent you from launching at all, get your MVP out there on the web and start getting real data from real site users and make meaningful updates accordingly and regularly!

WEB MARKETING ENGAGEMENTS

ONBOARDING, STRATEGY, & DELIVERABLES

During Onboarding, You'll Receive a Client Workbook that Includes:

  • A quick glance dashboard of your engagement with Tribute Media
  • Performance Scorecard for reviewing website traffic and other important analytics to quickly understand progress made over time
  • 12-Month SEO Roadmap
  • 12-Month Social Media Roadmap
  • Social Media Strategy & Brand Guidelines

This gives essential stakeholders an overview of your marketing goals, progress, and plans to keep marketing and sales aligned! Even if our relationship is shorter than 12 months, you'll walk away with a clear strategy for your team to work from based on your goals and data.

ONGOING COMMUNICATION: MONTHLY REPORTS & QUARTERLY PLANNING

Once we complete your onboarding, our team will be heads down completing the work we've outlined in your quarterly sprint. You may not hear from your account manager every week, but we guarantee meetings or emails at the times mentioned below:

  • Monthly Reporting On Website Improvements & Web Traffic Via Email
    • What Tribute Media Did That Month
    • A Video Breakdown of the Full Report for the First 90 Days
    • Housekeeping Items & What Tribute Will do the Next Month
  • 3 Months of Strategy Planning at a Time (a “Sprint Plan”)
    • A sprint plan is a document outlining how your budget will be used and what we'll be focusing on. It's built based on data, wishlist items, and tasks to help you have better conversations with your website visitors
    • This will always be a meeting between teams to make sure we are aligned in our efforts (or well-documented recommendations in your client workbook and sprint strategy documentation for you to reference if meetings aren't your jam)

WEBSITE & ADDITIONAL MARKETING SUPPORT:

Need some help with something on the fly? We want to help! We can build it into your current sprint using the allocated flex budget or provide you with some options for how to accomplish what you're looking for based on best practices. Your team would also have access to support through various channels, including:

  • Tribute Media Support Page: Submit a support ticket for our team to take care of the issue on your behalf
  • Tribute Media Self-Serve Knowledge Base: Learn how to make updates to your content, web forms, and more without the need for our help
  • Email Support: Email your account manager directly
  • Social Media Support: Yep, you can tweet at us!
  • Weekly Tuesday Tips: Want to know what we know? Sign yourself or someone on your team up for our web development and web marketing tips!

Managing TIMELINES & EXPECTATIONS: Keepin' It Real

If your next marketing partner sets the stage that you'll see immediate results, it should be a red flag. While there are leading indicators that we'll see in the first 90 days, it takes three months just to create or update content and another three months for Google to understand the changes being made on your website.

Your success is our success, and we're going to set the right strategy and expectations with you from the beginning.
