The position of Freelance Writer is a paid contract position and consists of writing blogs as assigned. It is a long-term, remote position (you do not need to be in Meridian, Idaho). This job includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Writing on assigned subjects
  • Proving an appropriate blog title including given keyword
  • Meeting an approximate word count
  • Providing a short description
  • Selecting an appropriate blog photo
  • Writing in Markdown
  • Using appropriate subtitles
  • Using appropriate cross-linking

Tribute Media will set the strategic direction for each assignment by providing the topics, keywords, and resources.

The number of blogs you take on every month is up to you. Tribute Media has some writers who write 60 blog posts a month, and some who write as few as four. This will be discussed after you have been hired.

The hiring process will include four test blogs. If they are of the quality we are looking for, you will be paid for those four blogs and we will outsource more content to you.
