The position of Copywriter is a part-time hourly position which could be employment or contract-based. The position consists of a variety of writing tasks such as web content and blog posts, email copy, social media copy, some copy editing, etc. for Tribute Media and its clients. It is a long-term position and could be remote. This job includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Writing on assigned subjects
  • Meeting an approximate word count
  • Writing in Markdown
  • Research of a particular industry as assigned
  • Understanding given website's voice, style, and published content
  • Providing appropriate titles, headings, and calls to action
  • Including keywords (provided) in the titles, headings, and content
Writers we work with have:
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • The ability to offer a unique perspective on a given topic
  • A writing style that is mostly free of grammatical errors and is concise and accessible
