Now that you understand how important a marketing plan is (Hint: see our previous blog), and you have started putting together a marketing plan, you might be asking yourself what you need to include in your marketing budget. The answer for this will depend entirely on the type of business that you currently operate and the audience that you are targeting. 
When a company says they don’t have or need a marketing budget, they might be overlooking what is actually included.
 There are some common items almost all businesses need to include in their budget.
It can be easy to overlook many different items, such as trade shows and business cards as part of your marketing budget, but these are all vital to maximizing the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. By identifying each of these areas as a fundamental component of marketing, it will be easier to make sure that all of your marketing efforts work in line with each other to get the maximum benefits.
